The issue of vehicles speeding in Ashton Hayes in the areas of Gongar Lane and Ashton Lane has been identified, as well as in the Hollow Lane area.

Police are increasing the amount of patrols in the area and will utilise ‘Trucam’ technology to capture evidence of offending drivers. Colleagues from the Roads Policing Unit have been contacted by neighbourhood officers to provide assistance with increased attention in the areas.

Concerns raised regarding youths becoming involved in anti-social behaviour at Castle Park and Saltworks metal shipping container.

PC Blake and PCSO Flanagan have targeted the offenders, working with the community to ID the youths responsible and parents have been spoken to
regarding their behaviour. PCSO Flanagan also has multiple meetings with the primary and high schools where he completes education to students on ASB and
encourages using the Frodsham social club as a way for children to socialise. The metal container has been dismantled and removed.
