Bache Roundabout
Roundabout situated at the junction of Liverpool Road, Countess Way and access to a Superstore, Filling Station and Bache Railway Station, Chester. The Superstore and Filling Station are built on the site of Bache Pool in which artefacts from the Mesolithic period were found. The sculpture of Jugglers in the centre of the roundabout is almost hidden to most road users in the forest of lamp posts - but is visible to bus passengers and pedestrians.

Site clearance
Behind the temporary fencing to protect the public from tree felling and site clearance work. It is believed that the works to be carried out after site clearance are part of a flood alleviation scheme. A main sewer, surface water drains and Flookers Brook run in culverts under Liverpool Road into the site near this point. The stream surfaces and runs along the site's boundary.
