Scrubland - Rhoose Point
A variety of scrub, together with reed in damp gullies, grows in the surrounds of the abandoned quarry. A housing estate has been built on the available land at the base of the surrounding cliffs. If developed sensitively this area could become an important wildlife habitat in one where man's hand has influenced nature's original design.
