Saint Peter's Church, Fairwater, Cardiff
Located on the south side of St Fagans Road, Saint Peter's is in the Church in Wales parish of Fairwater, diocese of Llandaff. The Earl of Plymouth laid the foundation stone on October 3rd 1936. The completed church was dedicated on January 30th 1937. In the early 1960s plans were drawn up to extend the church. Services were held in the church hall (on the right) while the work was undertaken.
The extended church was consecrated on October 28th 1961.

Clos-y-Nant main entrance, Fairwater, Cardiff
A path lined by red railings leads to the main entrance of Clos-y-Nant, one of Cardiff Council's Older Persons Accommodation sites. The accommodation is designed to cater for the needs of tenants aged at least 60. Tenants should be able to live independently in their own flats, though they may arrange their own additional help (such as cleaning or personal care) if necessary.

Entrance to Fairwater allotments, Cardiff
Viewed across St Fagans Road. This is one of about 30 allotment sites owned by Cardiff Council. Allotment plots vary in size. A full-size plot is usually 250m² (10 perch). Most beginners start with a smaller plot, though the size of plot is the decision of the applicant after consultation with the site secretary, depending on availability. There is a 50% reduction on allotment plot fees for over 60s.
