Saint Peter's Church, Fairwater, Cardiff

Located on the south side of St Fagans Road, Saint Peter's is in the Church in Wales parish of Fairwater, diocese of Llandaff. The Earl of Plymouth laid the foundation stone on October 3rd 1936. The completed church was dedicated on January 30th 1937. In the early 1960s plans were drawn up to extend the church. Services were held in the church hall (on the right) while the work was undertaken. The extended church was consecrated on October 28th 1961.
