Saint Peter's Church, Fairwater, Cardiff
Located on the south side of St Fagans Road, Saint Peter's is in the Church in Wales parish of Fairwater, diocese of Llandaff. The Earl of Plymouth laid the foundation stone on October 3rd 1936. The completed church was dedicated on January 30th 1937. In the early 1960s plans were drawn up to extend the church. Services were held in the church hall (on the right) while the work was undertaken. The extended church was consecrated on October 28th 1961.

Viewed across St Fagans Road. This is one of about 30 allotment sites owned by Cardiff Council. Allotment plots vary in size. A full-size plot is usually 250m² (10 perch). Most beginners start with a smaller plot, though the size of plot is the decision of the applicant after consultation with the site secretary, depending on availability. There is a 50% reduction on allotment plot fees for over 60s.
