Rail bridge near Cardiff Queen Street
A defect has been found in the rail bridge south of Cardiff Queen Street station that crosses the A4160. This has necessitated the removal of one track (of three), causing the cessation of the Queen Street Platform 1 to Cardiff Bay rail shuttle services; instead, the Bay is now served by trains terminating from other destinations. The exposed bridge deck, with track removed, is seen here from a passing train.
