Guided Busway 2
Track bed going round the bend in Histon. The warning sign is to stop casual drivers from trying the route out. I would imagine that electronically operated barriers will be installed to prevent unauthorized access by so called "joy riders"

The guided busway at Histon
The busway follows the route of the Cambridge to St Ives railway. The overgrown weatherboarded building on the left is the former railway goods shed. The picture was taken against strong morning light on a very cold December morning.

SCA Packaging site
On Villa Road. Now closed (see Image) and soon to be redeveloped into 68 new homes by Bellway. Histon is a popular area for living so they will no doubt sell well. There are links to Cambridge Regional College, the Science Park and Cambridge by the Busway (and associated cycleway) and onto the A14. The site is 2.23 hectares but 0.7 of that is a flood zone so can't be built on.
