Statue of William Harvey in Cambridge
This is on the corner of a building owned by Gonville and Caius College at the southern end of Trinity Street. The ground floor is now used by a gift shop. Harvey graduated from Gonville and Caius in 1597. He was the first to describe completely and in detail the systemic circulation and properties of blood being pumped to the brain and body by the heart, though others had been developing the concept before him.

Statue of Archbishop Colton in Cambridge
This is on the side of a building in Trinity Street owned by Gonville and Caius College. John Colton (c1320-1404) was Archbishop of Armagh. The angel above his effigy is holding his archbishop's coat-of-arms. In 1348 he received a degree of Doctor of Canon Law when he became the first ever Master of the new Gonville Hall, now Gonville and Caius College. He took a degree in divinity at the University of Cambridge in 1348 and the following year became the first Master of the new Gonville Hall, Cambridge, now Gonville and Caius College whose founder Edmund Gonville was a neighbour of Colton in Terrington. Trinity Street west fa?ade of 18 Rose Crescent, Cambridge
Grade II Listed Gonville and Caius College north and east ranges of St Michael's Court. Listed as 1901-3 by Sir Aston Webb (1849-1930). 'Capturing Cambridge' has a photograph of the previous building at 18 Rose Crescent and Trinity street that is endorsed with 'were pulled down in 1888, when Gonville and Caius extended and built St. Michael's Court'. Cambridge Streets Chronicle by Mike Petty contains the text '1888 Trinity Street: St Michael's Court built'.
