Warrenpoint Park
A product of the thriving tourist economy of Victorian and Edwardian Warrenpoint, the park was badly neglected during WWII and later during the Troubles. In 2018 it was refurbished by the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council at a cost of £1 million pounds. Band pavilion in Warrenpoint Park
The Band Pavilion dates from 1907 when Warrenpoint was one of Ireland's most popular holiday resort. Having been allowed to decline the park and pavilion were eventually refurbished by the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council District Council at a cost of £1 million pounds in 2018.
