The buildings mostly date from the late 19th century and virtually all were originally constructed as houses. All are now converted into offices, shops and fast-food takeaways.

'Local', Bangor
The public house 'Coyles' Image closed suddenly in May 2014. The pub was reopened shortly after as the pop-up bar 'Local' for a few weeks. It has since changed again as is now known as the 'Hop House'.

Telephone Call Box, Bangor
Recently installed BT "Street Talk 6" payphone on High Street in Bangor. This replaced an older version seen in Image (I understand, through reading the local press, that BT want to replace many of the older boxes in the town with these but, as each requires planning permission, local councillors are stalling).

Holborn Avenue [3]
The most interesting houses in Holborn Avenue is this stone-built terrace. Built around 1840 they may have been coastguard cottages at one point (the coastguard station was situated to the left on the 1901 OS map of the area).
