Station Road, Flax Bourton
Looking north from the Main Road end. For more than a century, the village had a railway station.
The first one opened in 1860. It was replaced by a larger station in 1893.
Passenger services in this area ceased in December 1963.

Old Milestone, now A370, Main Road
The milestone was probably located on the old A370 (now unclassified), Old Weston Road, in Cambridge Batch at ST 51767 69426; it is now located in the border at the rear of the drive between Grange Farmhouse and Flaxton House, on the north side of Main Road. Parish of Flax Bourton (North Somerset District). Stone post (plate lost), Bristol iron plate design, originally erected by the Bristol turnpike trust in the 19th century.

Crossover benches on Sue Otty Way
The Festival Way, National Route 33, seems to be named after a cycling advocate just this side of the railway line. Close to the road is a set of wooden benches and tables, of a sort.

A handy picnic spot for cyclists
Part of National Route 33, the track running from Nailsea to Bristol is known as the Festival Way and it is hoped to reach Devon eventually. It was officially opened on Monday 6th May 2013.
