The Methodist church on Front Street
Churchill's Methodists were given a huge boost in 1880 when local businessman and staunch Methodist Sydney Hill acquired this land and had this large church built as a memorial to his wife. In addition to this fine structure, he also developed a number of houses in Churchill and neighbouring Langford.

The Jubilee tower
Located right at the sharp end of the very narrow road junction where the A368 separates from Front Street is the famous tower. Behind it is a similarly narrow piece of garden where visitors can sit and admire it. Built in 1897 to mark Queen Victoria's jubilee, it features clocks, bells and a water fountain. When it was first constructed the roads would doubtless have been much quieter.
