Wallscourt Farm, Stoke Gifford
This was part of the Hewlett Packard estate and this building housed the remains of a vertical steam engine from a demolished farm building. This was a little museum that HP had built and could only be accessed through them. This site is being redeveloped.

Block B, University of the West of England
Buildings on the Frenchay Campus are designated by letters, and Block B surrounds this courtyard (or is it a quadrangle?), where touches of blue and yellow relieve the grey of the buildings. The flight of stairs on the left leads to a cafe on the first floor.

Wallscourt Farm, Stoke Gifford
This is the flywheel from a vertical steam engine that had been used in the farm. The building it was in had been demolished but this part was saved and re-erected in this display building on the Hewlett Packard site. Its current status is unknown. I saw this between having a job interview and discovering that I was unsuccessful. It remains standard NHS practice to interview and give results in the space of half a day or less.
