Crown Close
A small development from the 1970s/80s off Crown Road. Running along the right of the photo behind the screen of trees is the main London-Tonbridge railway. To the right of the house in the background, but not accessible, is a coal tax obelisk, no 197 in the list in the link below.

Magdalen Grove
One of a number of roads in southeast Orpington named after public schools. Although most date from the development of the area before and after the second world war, this estate is more recent, dating from the 1980s, built on the site of the former Charterhouse School which closed in 1986.
