Bromley: postbox № BR1 487, High Street
A postbox of the familiar 'Type K' design, which was introduced in 1980. The cipher is neatly picked out in gold paint.
It stands outside the offices of DirectLine Group, but it is listed on the Royal Mail's list as 'outside Churchill's', suggesting that the building has transferred from one insurance company to the other in recent years (or that they have merged).

Old Milestone by High Street, Bromley
Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road (was A21), in parish of BROMLEY (BROMLEY District), High Street, at Southern end of pedestrian area, 40m from junction with Ethelbert Road, in paved area, on West side of road. Bromley marker, erected by the New Cross turnpike trust in the 20th century.
Inscription reads:-
