Winterbourne Cottage
Viewed from the junction of Winterbourne Lane with Winterbourne Hollow. The cottage is actually the former farmhouse of Winterbourne Farm which has been swallowed up by the growth of Lewes, some of the former barns have been converted into dwellings which now form Winterbourne Mews.

Entrance to Lewes Prison

Juggs Road Tunnel
Small tunnel carrying the Lewes-Brighton railway underneath the hill that contains Juggs Road. Taken from Kingston Road.

Juggs Road Bridge
Carrying the ancient Lewes to Brighton route over the modern one. The track left Southover then climbed the ridge to Kingston before following the crest of the Downs towards Race Hill then descending into the old town of Brighton. The A27 Lewes By-Pass was built in the mid 1970s to ease congestion in the narrow streets of the town.
