Electricity Poles near Big Edgerley
Taken from the footpath that links St George's Lane with Trinity Road. A small speck of light appears in an otherwise dull day, the cloud cover making it impossible for the sun to get at the previous night's frost which still lies on the ground 30 minutes before sunset.

Edgerley Meadow
The name of the field according to Hurspierpoint's 1842 tithe map that lies to the north of Image and west of Image The latter contains a house called Big Edgerley whilst beyond the hedgerow in the distance is another called Little Edgerley.

Sheep Waste Field//Cow Field/Apple Tree Field/Lower Hovel Field/Hovel Field
The name of the fields according to Hurstpierpoint's 1842 tithe map. Sheep Waste Field was in the foreground whose old boundary ran across from Tilley's Copse on the right. Beyond that Cow Field occupied much of the large field with Apple Tree field to the south adjacent to the hedge. Beyond the hedge was Lower Hovel Field and Hovel Field, the latter adjacent to Little Park Farm that can be seen in the distance next to another wood known as The Wilderness.

A looping road off marchants Road built in the late 1960s/early 1970s. Named after The Wilderness which is the wood beyond the estate.

Built in 2002 to replace an older near derelict cottage of the same name. The barn beyond dates back to the 17th century and has been refurbished.

Part of a residential estate built in the early 1970s on a former field called Home Mead, according to Hurstpierpoint's 1842 tithe map. There are three small cup de sacs off this road, Image, Image and Image

Fairfield Crescent, Hurstpierpoint
Small estate built in the late 1950s off Cuckfield Road and named after Image whose land the estate was built on. Both it and another road, St Lawrence Way were built on a field called Middle Piece according to Hurstpierpoint's 1842 tithe map which later became a brick field by the 1875 OS map but had disappeared by the following 1899 one.
