Broomland Six Acres
The name of the field according to Clapham's 1843 tithe map with Image to the left. Beyond that is Goring Wood whilst in the distance to the right is Clapham Wood.

Broomland Four Acres
The name of the field according to Clapham's 1843 tithe map that lies in the extreme south west corner of the parish. The field seems to have been left to its own devices being a mixture of a wheat crop and various flowers and weeds.

The Coach and Horses Inn
Built around 1740 as a coaching inn on the busy east-west road that is now the A27. Originally known as the Rose & Crown it had changed to its current name by the 1760s. Beyond is Image

Arundel Road
The A27 as it leaves the outskirts of Worthing, the eastbound side of the road is reducing itself to one lane here as it travels through the town often causing tailbacks at peak periods. Behind the trees to the left are Image and Image on an old part of the road.

Forest Lane
The unmade track provides access to Image and is also a public footpath to Durrington. The track must be of some antiquity as it is used as the parish boundary between Clapham to the left and Goring to the right.

Forest Barn/Forest Barn Mews
A former barn that has now been converted into a residence whilst the grounds to the west have been developed into mock barn conversions. Whilst it retains some rural quality one wonders how long it will be before the creeping westward expansion of Worthing reaches this point.
