Looking along the pavement of this cul-de-sac of detached houses typical of the whole Moordown area. The sign is the standard Bournemouth nameplate from the 1980s, usually affixed with tubular steel which protrudes at each side, with a no-through-road sign incorporated into it. I expect this one would originally have been fixed in that way. A small chapel-like building, at 5 Nursery Road, which is listed in the 1975 Kelly's Directory as "Malvern Chapel (United Apostolic Faith Chapel)".

A short side-road off the more major Malvern Road. More than half the length of Malvern Close seems to be passing the side of the corner premises, with the few houses only encircling the very end. The sign is the standard Bournemouth nameplate from the 1980s, more often seen close to ground level, affixed with tubular steel which protrudes at each side, but here attached high on a lamppost. Malvern Road runs west-east from the main Wimborne Road through Moordown to the main Charminster Road through Charminster, which go north-south roughly parallel with each other about a mile apart. Malvern Road takes a very indirect route between the two, with several abrupt corners such as this one here, where Nursery Road emerges. The housing is mixed but mainly early 20th century, such as the house whose end we see in the background. The sign is a modern one, from 2010-15 when this more modern, abstract emblem rather than the traditional town coat of arms as the working logo of the council. A small cul-de-sac off the main Wimborne Road, with the block of flats Meadow Court on the corner (unseen, to the right). On the small tree/grass patch on the corner stands Image, commemorating those who lost their lives during a wartime plane crash on this spot in 1944.

Looking across the carriageway of Redbreast Road, along a driveway access which also forms a public footpath to Nursery Road. See Image for a picture as it approaches the far end.

This short public footpath essentially cuts the corner off from path M13, from which we look, for those wishing to turn right up Nursery Road. It is visible turning off to the right here: Image (we are standing just beyond the railings in that picture). See Image for a view down the path from the top end.

If you carry on walking down the pavement (to the right of the bushes), you will find a public footpath, M13, to your left. However, this short public footpath, M14, cuts the corner off slightly. See Image] for path M13 as M14 comes out on it (i.e. by the wheelie bin in the background).

Looking along this short public footpath between Redbreast and Nursery Roads as it reaches the latter. Just beyond the barriers, to the right, is another footpath, separately numbered M14, which cuts a little corner off if you wish to turn right (see Image).
