This short public footpath heads into the woods from Normanhurst Avenue and joins another public footpath, K18, shortly ahead near the dead end of Wordsworth Avenue. These are very expensive houses over looking the golf course at Queens Park. The gates are all very "Mr and Mrs Nouveau Richards" and the drives are littered with Bentleys and Astons.

We are stood just inside the woods at the dead end of Wordsworth Avenue, on the divergence of two public footpaths - path K18 heading right to Broad Avenue, and this shorter path, K30, to Normanhurst Avenue. Looking out of the end of public footpath K18 from Broad Avenue, onto the turning circle at the dead end of Wordsworth Avenue, which continues the line of the path behind us. Another footpath, K30, heads to the right as well, from more or less where we are standing. This public right of way, footpath K18, leads through the woods from Broad Avenue to Wordsworth Avenue and we see it here as it approaches the dead end of the latter. The actual mapped course of the right of way may actually be the narrower path to the left of the tree, but this broader path is the more followable, if less straight, route. This public footpath from Normanhurst Avenue joins another public footpath, number K18 (left) to arrive at the dead end of Wordsworth Avenue just around to the right. The continuing path ahead is not designated as a public right of way but is eminently walkable. Realistically, one has to head straight on a little on path K18 before turning left onto path K30.
