The Avenue, Branksome
Fine pine-lined road from County Gates south to Branksome Chine. Originally built by CW Packe as drive to his estate, later the Branksome Towers Hotel, now demolished. Behind the pines, there are few traces of the once grand mansions that were here; they have been replaced by monolithic blocks of flats.

Branksome: postbox № BH13 9, The Avenue
This postbox serves a very upmarket neighbourhood, consisting in The Avenue of mainly large, select apartment blocks but with desirable detached properties in the neighbouring roads. It is emptied finally at 5:30pm on weekdays and at 12:30pm on Saturdays.
