Bournemouth: dusk falls on the decade
Looking towards The Square from the fourth floor of the Town Hall Extension just after 4pm as we prepare to welcome a new day, week, month, year and decade in just a few hour's time.
The cenotaph, in the Central Gardens, can be seen bottom-right while the spire of Richmond Hill St. Andrew's is on the left.

Bournemouth: Richmond Hill St. Andrew?s from across the flooded Gardens
Looking across the Central Gardens towards Richmond Hill St. Andrew's United Reformed Church, a similar view to Mike Faherty's picture Image but from a little farther east.
We would normally be looking across a small culverted stream flowing gently between two broad lawns, but this morning's torrential rain caused flooding in much of the town centre.

Bournemouth: Hampshire House and Bourne Court
Looking up from the Central Gardens towards these two Bourne Avenue frontages. The blocks consist of shops/eateries on the ground floor and flats above.
Hampshire House, the right-hand half of the picture, includes some little architectural embellishments, including the red/yellow/green/blue-painted projections at third-floor level. The colours are also used for the rear window ledges, as seen here: Image

Bournemouth: snowman lights in Bourne Avenue
Looking along Bourne Avenue towards the Town Hall, which can be seen floodlit in the distance. A light in the shape of an angel can be seen on the next lamppost down, below the snowman. An uprooted bollard, which can be seen bottom left, has found itself in various positions around here in the last week or so.
