Bournemouth: looking down on Commercial and Avenue Roads
Similarly to Old Christchurch Road and Gervis Place to the east, Commercial and Avenue Roads head west from The Square in similar directions. Avenue Road (far right) still carries traffic while Commercial Road (diagonally through the picture) is pedestrianised as it also ascends to The Triangle.
Prominent features are the frontage of Image, towards bottom right; the roof of the award-winning central library (Image) and the top level of Image

Former Marks and Spencer store
This store on Commercial Road, Bournemouth, was the victim of the first swathe of M&S store closures and ceased trading on 14th April 2018, after eighty-eight years' presence in the town centre.

Bournemouth: lion in Commercial Road
The lion is one of 50 dotted around the town during the 'Pride in Bournemouth' art event. Local people entered their designs and the winning ones now appear in prominent locations in the town centre with a few in outlying areas.
This particular one stands in the pedestrianised section of Commercial Road, home to many familiar High-Street shops.
