Looking along this public footpath, connecting West Cliff Road with the West Cliff, on a foggy afternoon as it passes one of the desirable apartment on this western side of the town centre.

Bournemouth: sign for toilets on footpath B03
You need to walk a little way from the road down Image before you reach this sign - it does seem strange that the sign would not be at the start of the path. It is, in fact, by a side walkway from hotels and flats, but surely they have their own toilets?

A new inland spot
This area near the Durley Roundabout is being rebuilt. It is about to become 'The Wessex', a development by Inland PLC to create a number of 1 and 2-bedroom apartments on what was the site of the old Hawthorns Hotel of many years standing. The finished block nearest the camera is Heather Court, while the scaffolded building will be Hawthorne Court.
