Sandford, footpath
From Sandford to Holton Heath, with housing to the left, and woodland to the right. The path is known as "Roman Road"; an archaeological investigation is shortly due to investigate whether this name is correct.

Sandford: postbox № BH20 187 and phone, Keysworth Drive
The postbox is emptied finally at 5:15pm on weekdays and at 8:30am on Saturdays. Work to the electricity supply is currently in progress on the carriageway.

Sandford: old post office and postbox № BH20 100, St. Helen?s Road
The post office closed, along with 2,500 nationwide, during the Post Office's closure scheme of 2008. The postbox is emptied finally at 5:15pm on weekdays and at 10:45am on Saturdays.

On St Helens Road; the premises to the left still bear a "Stores" sign, but seem to be closed.

Sandford: postbox № BH20 89, Woodlands Drive
This postbox serves a medium-sized, modern housing estate just off the main road (the roundabout is visible in the distance). It is emptied finally at 5:15pm on weekdays and the surprisingly early 7:30am on Saturdays.
