West Howe: southern end of footpath U43
Looking along a public footpath to the shops at the far side of Cunningham Crescent (the roof of the parade is visible in the background). The building to the left is the Henry Brown Youth Centre. See Image for a closer view along the path, with discussion on its name, Youth Walk.

West Howe: footpath U43 is called Youth Walk
Many of the footpaths on the West Howe estate and thereabouts have been given names in the last couple of years, a safety initiative whose intention is that, in the event of calling for help, one's location can be more easily described. This one is named Youth Walk as it runs past the back of the Henry Brown Youth Centre (and also the back of the library). It forms half of public footpath U43 and leads to the shops whose long roof we see in the background. See Image for a view along the path towards us and Image for a wider view from behind us.

West Howe Library
On Cunningham Crescent, in the centre of West Howe Estate. Note the slightly ornate lamp post to the right, perhaps to give the area a touch of distinctiveness. http://www.bournemouth.gov.uk/Residents/Libraries/Info/WestHowe_Library_Details.asp

West Howe: Moorside Gardens
Modern infill development of a few houses, off Moorside Road. Because the houses are tucked around the back of the two adjoining gardens, we can't see any of them from here at the end of the road. The sign is a modern one, from 2010-15 when this more modern, abstract emblem rather than the traditional town coat of arms as the working logo of the council. It is unusual in being a short version with the road name on two lines. This is photo no.282 of a series of 453 in my coronavirus lockdown walking project: See https://www.geograph.org.uk/article/My-2020-Coronavirus-Lockdown-walking-project for the complete set of photos.
