Many of the footpaths on the West Howe estate and thereabouts have been given names in the last couple of years, a safety initiative whose intention is that, in the event of calling for help, one's location can be more easily described. This one is named Youth Walk as it runs past the back of the Henry Brown Youth Centre (and also the back of the library). It forms half of public footpath U43 - see Image for a view of Youth Walk from the other end, and Image for the course of path behind us, coinciding with the shops' driveway.
