The Tomato Dip Cafe, Harrogate Road, Eccleshill
Taken in the middle of Harrogate Road, a dual carriageway at this point, on the central reservation. For at least 40 years to my knowledge various cafes in the area have intermittently rejoiced in this name, though they don't seem connected. There was one near Skipton in the 1960s, then one somewhere in North Yorkshire and lately this one.

Row of Houses
This row of back to back houses is part of the Bradford Industrial Museums exhibits. The row was originally sited near to Laisterdyke in Bradford and has been rebuilt here. The houses contain a Yorkshire range and the living rooms have linoleum on the stone floors.

St Luke's Church, Eccleshill
Although the name Eccleshill implies an ancient church, St Luke's on the corner of Fagley Lane is relatively modern and local history suggests other origins of the placename.

St Luke's Church, Eccleshill
Pevsner's list of the Victorian churches of Bradford gives the date as 1848 and the architect as Walker Rawsthorne. The design is enlivened by the little corner turrets. The 1896 revision of the OS 1" map shows it as having a spire, which has now been replaced by the open-work top to the tower.
