Leeds and Liverpool Canal, Salts Wharf
This modern stone-built, slate roofed office building replaced a 20th century factory building and blends well with the surrounding buildings. The 3 storey block is a pastiche of a warehouse rather than a mill shed, however, with a projecting modern style bay which mimics a covered loading bay the effect is lessened by the building being set back from the canal and the space in between used for car parking.

Christmas Day on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, Shipley
The partly frozen canal, looking west towards Saltaire. The bridge is Salt's Mill Road. There were quite a few walkers out on a lovely, but cold day.

Leeds and Liverpool Canal, Former Canal Company Warehouse by Victoria Street Bridge (1)
This red brick warehouse was built by the Leeds and Liverpool Canal Company in 1928 for the storage of wool. Sadly, it has remained empty for some time and is in a badly neglected state of disrepair.
The warehouse is built on top of the bank of the canal and follows the shape of a basin which branches off the canal. A pair of gables overlook the canal, one of which has a covered loading bay, but the cladding is incomplete and damaged.
