This red brick warehouse was built by the Leeds and Liverpool Canal Company in 1928 for the storage of wool. Sadly, it has remained empty for some time and is in a badly neglected state of disrepair. The warehouse is built on top of the bank of the canal and follows the shape of a basin which branches off the canal. A pair of gables overlook the canal, one of which has a covered loading bay, but the cladding is incomplete and damaged.
