The hill doesn't look bad from here, but round the corner it is 1 in 7. The trees on the left are horse chestnuts, and there are conkers on the road in the autumn. Baildon Bank is in the background.

Underneath a tree in a rain shower in Baildon
Having just arrived in Baildon my wife and I set off on foot to explore our new environs and found ourselves sheltering from a heavy-ish rain shower here, before luckily stumbling upon a really excellent chip shop, into which we dived for a traditional chippy tea. The owner gave us excellent tourist advice and ensured we gained a good basic knowledge of Baildon and the surrounding area. Great Yorkshire hospitality.
