Thackley Crossroads ? 1966
The trolleybus is about to turn from Leeds Road into Town Lane on its way to Bradford city centre. However, the overhead wiring included a complete circle which would allow trolleybuses to make a U-turn when coming from either Bradford or Saltaire. Either manoeuvre would be considered ridiculous today, but they were in normal use for the odd peak time duplicate journey.
Bradford trolleybus 675 was built as early as 1939, by English Electric, although like the many Bradford trolleybuses it had received a brand new body in the 1950s.

Bradford Trolleybus turning at Thackley Corner
BUT Trolleybus 831 (LHN 781) is turning at Thackley Corner where the A657 (Leeds Road) meets with Town Lane. Route 41 turned round here, although this vehicle was on a private tour.
