2009 : East from Palmer's Lane
In the middle ages a Palmer was someone who had made the pilgrimage to Jerusalem.
Over the meadow, beyond the sheep, we find Withyditch and the Cam Valley. A collection of 3D photographs in http://www.somerset3d.co.uk/logos%20&%20pictures/town%20&%20village%20pages/withyditch.html
On the horizon, a little to the right, if you look carefully you will see a thing like a big mushroom, this is the water tower above Limpley Stoke and Freshford

The cutting under this bridge was filled in after the line closed.
Only the top portions of the former railway bridge are visible.

Lane at Withyditch
Withyditch Lane, no less. I waited here for a while for the rain to stop (it did) and the sun to come out (it didn't).

Withyditch Baptist Chapel
"Non-Conformist one-roomed chapel, dating from 1839 ... a fairly rare survival of a largely unaltered baptist chapel. Its exterior displays humble but elegant Classical architectural detailing, clearly expressing the Non-Conformist culture and tradition" https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1391753 .
