A costly bus shelter
This bus shelter at the University of Bath was under construction for many months, which probably makes it one of the most expensive in the country. The wall and staircase behind it were new in 2010.

Bushey Norwood
This open meadow is in the care of the National Trust. It is an ancient upland that has much Roman or Iron Age evidence of occupation. The trees include many old native species and the wild flowers will have been a sight for at least as long.

Entrance to Bath University Sports Training Village
Funded with Lottery money, some of the facilities are open to the public, although the precise opening times of the 50m pool are not easy to discover. From the Team Bath website ( https://www.teambath.com/facilities/ ): "[The Sports Training Village] houses sport, fitness, coaching, physio and sport science facilities all largely under one roof. The STV has indoor and outdoor facilities to accommodate more than 50 sports and regularly hosts major international competitions as well as being a world-class multi-sport training environment."
