Inside West Bromwich Bus Depot (1)
This photo shows the interior of the bus depot in Oak Lane B70 8PP, where National Express West Midlands were having an Open Day for the public to see inside it. The blue and cream coloured double decker in the foreground is 6600 (NOC 600R) a Leyland Fleetline dating from 1976 with Park Royal 76-seater bodywork and now preserved. Behind it is 1026 (DOC 26V) a Leyland National single-decker also in the blue and cream livery of West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive. It has 50-seater bodywork dating from 1980 and is also now preserved.

Inside West Bromwich Bus Depot (2)
This photo shows the inside of the bus depot in Oak Lane B70 8PP where an Open Day was being held there. In the middle of the photo can be seen a driver recruitment bus, whilst behind it is 4879 (BX61 LNZ) an ADL Trident 2 10.5m bus with ADL Enviro 400 77-seater bodywork dating from 2011 advertising Birmingham Pride 2018. Behind them are parked various buses, some of which are now preserved, whilst in the foreground there are people looking at items to buy on the various stands.

West Bromwich Bus Depot (1)
This photo shows the entrance to the bus depot in Oak Lane B70 8PP with a dark red and white driver training bus parked against the side of the building. It is 4131 (Y723 TOH) a Dennis Trident with Alexander ALX400 74-seater bodywork, which is normally allocated to the Walsall bus depot in Bloxwich Road, SK0000 refers. However, it is seen here as an Open Day is taking place at this bus depot in West Bromwich for the public to see inside it.

West Bromwich Bus Depot (2)
Situated in Oak Lane B70 8PP, this bus depot opened in November 1929 and is one of ten such depots operated by National Express West Midlands. At present, a total of 156 buses are based here operating services locally and to Birmingham, Dudley, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall and Wednesbury nearby. In the foreground is the dark red single decker bus 1948 (BX10 AEG) a Scania OmniLink CK230 UB with Scania 43-seater bodywork dating from 2010. It is one of eighteen such vehicles allocated to West Bromwich. To the right of the photo in the distance can be seen the entrance to the bus depot.
