Situated in Oak Lane B70 8PP, this bus depot opened in November 1929 and is one of ten such depots operated by National Express West Midlands. At present, a total of 156 buses are based here operating services locally and to Birmingham, Dudley, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall and Wednesbury nearby. In the foreground is the dark red single decker bus 1948 (BX10 AEG) a Scania OmniLink CK230 UB with Scania 43-seater bodywork dating from 2010. It is one of eighteen such vehicles allocated to West Bromwich. To the right of the photo in the distance can be seen the entrance to the bus depot.
