Welham Green: Dellsome Parade
Local shops of different designs and eras on Dellsome Lane. Prior to the construction of the A1(M) Motorway Dellsome Lane used to be a driveable road to Colney Heath from Welham Green. See Image for details in the adjacent grid square.

Barrier at the junction of Pooleys Lane and Travellers Close
The road was blocked to stop people using the residential area to get in and out of the adjacent industrial estate.

Balloon Corner, Welham Green
At the junction of Parsonage Lane and Huggins Lane stands this stone commemorating the brief landing nearby of the first (hydrogen) balloon flight in this country. It is often used to retie shoelaces on.
