Doctor's Alley
A cut through from the Common to the High Street. So-called because just before one got to the High Street a gate in the wall led into Dr Totton's surgery - a long time ago. He is now remembered through at least one street name in the village.

Especially imposing, standing so close to the road, a polished early Georgian house in brown brick with gauged red brick dressings. Grade II* listed.

Redbourn: The High Street
Once the Roman Watling Street, then the arterial A5, then downgraded to the A5183, and now with A5183 by-passing it to remove through traffic, this is the main street in Redbourn, viewed looking northwards. The George and The Bull are the two Public Houses on the right side of the road.
