How Wood: How Wood (1)
My preferred way of titling photographs of roads is the place name followed by the road name. So this is the road named How Wood in the place called How Wood! Anyway 1950s/1960s terraced housing typical of the place.

How Wood railway station
Minimalist facilities are available at this station on the St Albans Abbey branch line from Watford Junction. However the elliptical shaped shelter is recent having replaced the more usual box shaped version visible in Jack's image Image from August 2005. How Wood station is comparatively new, having been opened in 1988 when the line received its overhead electrification. The next station on the line towards St Albans is Park Street which is only 1 kilometre away.
