Daviot war memorial
Note the blocked west doorway of the kirk in the background, which was stopped off in 1958, when the church was reconfigured. The building date of 1798 is just visible above the doorway.

Daviot Parish Kirk
A 'preaching box' (rectangular footprint) dating from 1798. It is dedicated to the 7th Century missionary St Colm, who is (probably) not the same person as St Columba: http://www.cushnieent.force9.co.uk/CelticEra/Saints/saints_colm.htm .
