Steam up in Millburn
A traction engine in steam on Millburn Road. The Meadows Burn runs behind the tees the mill was at Cromlet to the east.

Last of the Meadow
The meadows used to be a fairly large green area south of Oldmeldrum now it's a small area with scrub on one side and farmland on the other. Bennachie, as ever, looms large in the distance.

Millburn Trees
The trees flow the line of the Meadow Burn, soon to become the Lochter Burn. On the right is Millburn Road and an industrial estate , to the left the bypass and its roundabout.

Old Meldrum railway station (site), Aberdeenshire
Opened in 1856 as the terminus of the Great North of Scotland Railway's branch line from Inverurie, this station closed to passengers in 1931 and completely in 1966. View north west across the terminus site. The former goods shed still stands. The single platform and wooden building were just behind it. The wooden building has been re-erected at Milton of Crathes on the Royal Deeside Railway.
