Former Manse of King Edward
The south gable of the manse, now Glancairn House, is just visible among the trees. The kirk and kirkyard are to its right.

Old parish kirk of King Edward, and kirkyard
The church dates from 1124; for detail see http://www.rcahms.gov.uk/pls/portal/newcanmore.newcandig_details_gis?inumlink=19240 from the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland. The kirk was last used in 1848. Banff and Buchan District Council conserved the remains of the church and the kirkyard in 1989-91.

Memorial to 8th Laird of Craigston, served in 3 wars
In the area of Urquhart memorials in the old King Edward kirkyard is this one in standard Commonwealth War Graves Commission style; it is notable for its inscription:
M B Pollard Urquhart, Ordinary Seaman . ., H.M.S "Bacchante", formerly Captain, Royal Army Service Corps, 28th November 1940 age 61. 8th Laird of Craigston, died on active service in his third war.

Old Parish Kirk
Until replaced by Image] this was the parish kirk of King Edward. Although the building is mostly ruinous, the chapel with the two lancet windows has a firmly locked door, so is presumably still in some kind of use. The enclosure with the railings is the burial place of the Urquhart family, some of the plaques referring to Craigfinlay and some to Craigston.
