In the area of Urquhart memorials in the old King Edward kirkyard is this one in standard Commonwealth War Graves Commission style; it is notable for its inscription: M B Pollard Urquhart, Ordinary Seaman . ., H.M.S "Bacchante", formerly Captain, Royal Army Service Corps, 28th November 1940 age 61. 8th Laird of Craigston, died on active service in his third war.
