Fordyce, Bridge Cottage
A wider angle showing Bridge Cottage on the south side of the road which cuts through the village, and is directly adjacent to the bridge over the stream. On this north facing wall there is a partial benchmark on the extreme right of the original cottage. The mark has been obscured due to the addition of an adjoining outbuilding. The mark is on the 1st course of stone and about 1 foot from ground level.

A seat and sculpture in a green space opposite Fordyce church and castle. The work was by Alison Simpson. I received a visit from the Puncture Fairy here.

A Small Park
The circular seat is decorated with an appealing wrought iron sculpture. I wonder how comfortable it is to lean against? The flagpole beside it has a Scottish and a Ukrainian flag at half-mast. I wanted to untangle the latter from the pole but couldn't see any way of reaching it.
