Former Masonic Hall
The lintel above the middle upper window is carved with the words "St Stephen Lodge", preceded by a masonic symbol. It seems that the building was bought by Lodge St Stephen in 1798, and then sold again in 1832.

Hall
This building, unhappily obscured by trees in the neighbouring garden, was the Town Hall, built in 1798 and remodelled in 1892. It seems to have been in use as a drill hall from 1896 until 1924, when it was sold to the Salvation Army. It is now unclear (at least to me) what use is being made of it as there i nothing outside it to say.
