Former Railway Line
After Invernorth the railway begins to climb gently. This section of the route was quite wet, with water running down on both sides of the central grassy strip.

Fireplace
We were curious about this piece of masonry beside the railway line, but on investigation it proved to be a fireplace and chimney base. This is at the north end of Rathen Station, so perhaps it was a waiting room or a staff room.
