Fundamental bench mark, Rosehearty, Aberdeenshire
The bench mark was used during the second and third geodetic levellings of Scotland which took place between 1936 and 1968. It is now a passive station.

Tumbledown Dyke
No wonder the farmer has put up a new fence - the dyke is in no condition to contain livestock and especially not sheep. The house at the top is Braco Brae Cottage, and it is in the next square.
