Seven Petrel at rest
The Seven Petrel (see: http://maritime-connector.com/ship/acergy-petrel-9268629/ ) moored in Peterhead South Harbour. When the photo was uploaded, she was already back at work in the North Sea.

Blubber Box Quay, Peterhead harbour.
In the nineteenth century, whalers set out from Peterhead to hunt the Greenland Right whale around Spitzbergen and Greenland. The blubber was packed in barrels and brought back to Peterhead for rendering into whale oil. This quay onto which the barrels were offloaded is still called Blubber Box Quay. The modern oil tanks, by a twist of fate, lie on top of the old boiling premises.

Merchants Quay, Peterhead Harbour, Aberdeenshire
Merchants Quay was formerly the site of Peterhead's fish market until it was relocated in 2018 and the original building demolished. The quay is now operated by Norsea who use it for handling their offshore supply vessels and supporting oil and gas rig decommissioning and renewables projects. The ship is offshore supply vessel OOC Cougar and in the background is fishing trawler PD265 Lunar Bow.
