Winter Scene
Newtonhill has grown a great deal since this house was built in 1990. At least a further 350 houses have been built, and more are likely to follow as Aberdeen continues to expand.
This also shows a little-known phenomenon of Scottish weather - we do get a white Christmas sometimes!

Boat Huts, Newtonhill

Site of Newtonhill Station

Newtonhill Railway Viaduct
Bridging the Elsick Burn, this stone and iron structure carries the main line between Dundee and Aberdeen. The picture is looking southwest towards the village of Newtonhill, which can be seen in the background.
